Fisheries and Oceans Canada – Quebec Region announces the Conservation Harvesting Plan for the North Shore Inshore Gear Fleets under the Individual Transferable Quota (ITQ) management regime for Atlantic halibut in NAFO Divisions 4RST as well as the opening of the fishery for the Lower North Shore (LNS) fixed gear fleet for the 2025-2026 management year.

Fisheries and Oceans Canada – Quebec Region announces the opening of the Atlantic Halibut fishery for the Upper and Middle North Shore (UMNS) Fixed Gear Fleet, Individual Transferable Quotas (ITQs).
Fishing activities will be authorized as of May 15, 2025 at 05:00 (EDT).

Fisheries and Oceans Canada – Quebec Region announces the opening and closing dates of the lobster fishery for the following sub-areas :
- 19A1-A to 19A1-H et 19B : May 6 to July 15 2025
- 21A et 21B : May 6 to July 13 2025
Please note that the season starts at 4:30 AM for all sub-zones.
The management measures set out in the Conservation Harvesting Plan (CHP), approved on April 19, 2023, are renewed.
