Since February 2021, we have had the opportunity to work in collaboration with the First Nations Human Resources Development Commission of Québec (FNHRDCQ).

Together, we are adapting our practices to ensure that our recruitment and work environment are culturally appropriate and safe. We are implementing new approaches to promote the integration and professional development of Indigenous colleagues. Below are the key elements of our approach!

Culturally Safe Environment

We are committed to providing a welcoming and safe environment. This includes building cultural awareness and sensitivity among our employees and acknowledging the history and rights of First Peoples in our work.

Recruitment

We always need new talented people, and you are one of them! Through our recruitment process, your personality, interests, and aspirations will be emphasized.

Integration

We all know that a new job can be stressful. That’s why we have created a pathway for new employees that will help you feel welcome, supported, and awaited within your new work team. You will have the opportunity to be paired with a colleague who will be there to answer your questions and show you the workings of your new positions.

Professional Development

We care about your professional development. Therefore, we develop learning plans for all employees. We offer training, mentoring, and networking opportunities within our Department to ensure your fulfillment.
