Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Quebec Region announces the opening of the sub-areas CN4 Toad crab fishing season from July 19 until October 31, 2025.

This Conservation Harvesting Plan (CHP) applies to Toad crab licence holders from North Shore fleet sub-area CN4 and area 12 Magdalen Islands fleet. This CHP will be in effect for the 2025,2026 ans 2027 seasons.

Fisheries and Oceans Canada – Quebec Region announces the opening of the Atlantic halibut fishery for the Gaspé fixed gear fleet less than 13.71 m from the Lobster fishers group in the 4RST divisions.
The fishery will be authorized from April 1, 2025 at 4:30 a.m.(EDT), to April 28, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. (EDT).
The authorized fishing gear is the longline. All hooks must have an opening of at least 15.4 mm. The number of hooks allowed is presented in Table 1 and is established according to the allocation held by the licence holder.

Fisheries and Oceans Canada – Quebec Region announces the Conservation Harvesting Plan for the North Shore Inshore Gear Fleets under the Individual Transferable Quota (ITQ) management regime for Atlantic halibut in NAFO Divisions 4RST as well as the opening of the fishery for the Lower North Shore (LNS) fixed gear fleet for the 2025-2026 management year.

Fishing activities will be authorized as of May 15, 2025 at 05:00 (EDT).
