The Québec Fisheries Fund (QFF) has been launched! This new fund aims to boost innovation in the Quebec fish and seafood sector. It supports the sustainable development of this important sector by promoting continuous and long‑term growth in product value and quality improvement.

Funded 70% by the federal government and 30% by the Quebec government, the QFF is spread over five years and will invest $42.8 million in local development projects in the fish and seafood sector. For the governments, it is also a recognition of the economic and cultural importance of the sector, which provides nearly 7,000 jobs in Quebec.

It is now time to submit your projects!

To be eligible, projects must focus on one or more of the following areas
