Recreational Groundfish Fishery Within 50 Meters of the Coastline in the Estuary and Gulf of St. Lawrence, Quebec

Hand line recreational groundfish fishery does not require a permit. However, fishers must comply with open and close time in every fishing area, as well as with the amount of fish permitted to catch and retain per day.

The recreational fishery within 50 meters of the coastline of the following species is forbidden at all time and in every area: Atlantic halibut, Atlantic wolffish, northern wolffish, spotted wolffish and white hake.
