New Associate Regional Director General for Quebec
Fisheries and Oceans Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Sylvie Pelletier as Associate Regional Director General for Quebec. She is taking over from Johanne Benoit-Guillot, who retired in December 2015.
Ms. Pelletier has over 30 years' experience in the Public Service of Canada, mainly with the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG). Since 2012, she has headed programs for the Central and Arctic Region, an expansive and diverse territory that includes the Great Lakes, the St. Lawrence River and Estuary, and the Arctic. She was also previously Regional Director of Maritimes Services for the CCG in the Quebec Region.
She has a Master's in Public Administration from the École nationale d’administration publique (ENAP), as well as a college diploma in geodetic techniques.
