New Regional Director General for Quebec
Fisheries and Oceans Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrick Vincent as Regional Director General for Quebec. He is taking over from Richard Nadeau, who retired in August 2015.
Mr. Vincent began his career with Fisheries and Oceans Canada in 1989. At that time, he was an economist at the Regional Policy and Economics Branch. He then served as development officer in the Gaspe Area, regional manager of coordination and planning for the Canadian Coast Guard, director of human resources, and director of resource management and Aboriginal fisheries. Since 2008, he has been the Regional Director of Fisheries Management.
With his degree in Economics from Université Laval, his extensive management experience and his knowledge of the issues affecting Fisheries and Oceans Canada clientele, Patrick Vincent is a great asset to the Department and its clients.
