Centres of Expertise
DFO Science Centres of Expertise (COEs) focus on areas where it is more effective to partner both internally and externally with academia, other departments and other governments to achieve results. Some of these use regionally based infrastructure and others are virtual, focusing experts from many locations on specific projects. Two of these centres, as well as a laboratory, are located at Maurice Lamontagne Institute
