Notices to Fish Harvesters

Magdalen Islands – July 24, 2024

Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Quebec Region announces the Rock crab Conservation Harvesting Plan (CHP) valid for 2024 and 2025.

For the Magdalen Islands sub-areas 12A, 12B and 12C, the main modifications are the following:

• From now on, the fishing season will begin on August 21 and end on December 31 each year.
• Permanent transfers of individual quotas between the licence holders are authorized, under certain conditions. For more details, please refer to your area office.
